About me!

I’m Presley and I’m a sophomore at Texas State, originally from Colorado. My major is Mass Communications, and I’m currently in the process of figuring out what direction I want to go within this field, either broadcast or PR! I love it here at Texas State and I’m so thankful I ended up here. I am on the dance team, the Texas State Strutters, and I am a member of the sorority Alpha Delta Pi.

Here’s some quirky facts about me:

• My book smarts are much greater than my street smarts. My mom often questions how I can get A’s in school but just recently learned, the hard way, that you can’t put metal in a microwave.
• I’m a major germaphob. I run away from sneezes and coughing. I brush crumbs off of chairs before I sit down. And I will move tables if there’s a slightest hint of any unknown substance near where I’m sitting. Basically, Purell is my best friend.
• I’m obsessed with two things in this world: the color teal and sombreros. I think I love sombreros so much because I like to think of my life as a fiesta…but if you want to know the perfect gift to get me, a teal sombrero would win my heart over.
• I never realized until it was brought to my attention in college that all of my favorite foods are “white”: mashed potatoes, macaroni (I argued with my friends that would technically be yellow), and saltine crackers. And god forbid you buy the unsalted saltines…or if you do just don’t tell anyone because apparently it’s very weird.
• I have a very sarcastic personality, and that tends comes out in my writing sometimes. I live for shows filled with dry humor like the Office, SNL, and Family Guy. If I could meet any celebrity I would love to meet Kristen Wiig and quote Bridesmaids all day with her.
